Wyoming Medicaid Pharmacy Information

**ANNOUNCEMENT** Effective April 15, 2026, all Wyoming Medicaid pharmacy claims and prior authorizations will be processed in new OptumRx systems. Please visit the Provider Manual posted at https://www.wymedicaid.org/provider/provider-manual.html for more information. While no changes are necessary to submit claims, prior authorizations, or inquiries to this new processor, please note that there will be a blackout period beginning at 5:00PM MST 4/14/2026 as claims are migrated to the new system. During this window, claims will be rejected with a “SYSTEM NOT AVAILABLE” message, and may need to be resubmitted at 12:01MST or later on 4/15/2026.
